MTV and VH1 will be the exclusive on-air and online outlets to globally premiere the new video from multi-platinum group Muse. “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever),” the lead single from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, will feature never-before-seen footage from Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and debut on MTV, VH1,
MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, MTV.com, and VH1.com as well as on MTV and VH1′s international channels on Thursday, May 20 at 8pm ET/5PM PT.

Summit ’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters worldwide this summer, while the soundtrack is set to be released June 8 on Chop Shop/Atlantic. “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)” is Muse’s third consecutive track featured in the Twilight movies, as they were also
included on the soundtracks for Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

To watch the video online viewers can go to http://muse.mtv.com on Thursday, May 20 beginning at 12pm ET/PT.

In her May 6th blog update, Stephenie Meyer shared to the world that Muse were providing an exclusive song to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse original soundtrack which does not have a release date yet, but the single will be out on May 17th. The song is called Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) and may be connected to the recent Twipics we’d seen of Muse recording a new music video. Time will tell.

This also comes in contradiction with Muse’s previous statement, that they would not be part of the Eclipse OST.

It’s been brought to my attention that there is an Undisclosed Desires vinyl that hit the streets some time ago.
Question is whether this vinyl is legit or not.
The 12″ Vinyl’s catalogue number is MUD001 and is released under White Label.

It seems Warner Germany is trying to milk Muse fans for all their money.

Anyway, it seems we’ll be getting a second physical release for the Undisclosed Desires single in Germany on April 30th, according to Amazon.de at the lovely price of 3.99€ (plus the 7 or 14€ of shipping!).

I’ll give you two chances at guessing the artwork it will have…

And Guiding Light is a high pitched accelerated version of the song.

It would seem that the UK will NOT be getting the Muse 7″…
According to Indie Record Shop‘s list of UK releases, Muse isn’t on it. I’m guessing this is a US exclusive of some sort.

After reading through the website, it seems that this will be a one-day-only event. Independent stores will be selling these on that day only. There’s no guarantee what store will get what. Find out what participating stores are near you.

It’s been brought to my attention that an Exogenesis Symphony 7″ Single could be released on April 17th.

The first source, THEPRP, tells us the date, whereas the second, RECORD STORE DAY, gives us a description of the tracklist:

- Exogenesis Symphony (Parts 1-3)
- Uprising (Live from Teignmouth)
- Resistance (Live from Lisbon)

It also states there will only be 2000 copies made.

There were also rumours of a single for Unnatural Selection.

We’ll see which one plays out. Keep a sharp eye.
