Matt Shares His Twilight Thoughts – thedailyrecord.co.uk

MUSE frontman Matt Bellamy doesn’t care if people think his band’s involvement in the Twilight films is uncool.
The 31-year old singer and guitarist admits to being a massive fan of the vampire movie franchise.
So it’s no wonder Muse have had a song in each of the three movies. Or that they want to continue this run in next year’s Breaking Dawn film and the rumoured second part of the final Stephenie Meyer novel in 2012.
Muse + Eclipse = No More

Sigh of relief or cringe of horrible agony?
That is the question we ask ourselves after the recent newspost by Dose.ca telling us that Muse will not appear on the third instalment of the Twilight series.
They even so far as to write the song, but never got to record it properly. Muse still intend to release it, though. Time will tell.

Tour Doco & Full Aussie Tour

According to Triple J’s website Muse are planning to release a Tour Documentary instead of a single gig performance. Which is, of course, exciting, because Muse are not only a band on stage, they’re also three blokes that know how to have fun on tour. They have serioused up these past few years and it’s important for fans to be reminded of their cool nature.
Also, it’s to be noted that a full Aussie Tour is also in preparation for November/December, so fear not, Australia fans, they’re coming back with a full blown tour.

Liverpool Echo: Interview with Chris

It’s been a decade since Muse first burst onto the music scene, proudly picking up the prog rock mantle where ELO left off.
With bright, space age sounds and orchestral rock configurations, they bagged a clutch of gongs – five MTV Europe Music Awards, five Q Awards, six NME Awards, two BRIT awards and four Kerrang! Awards.
Dom Talks Italian Mime Performance

It’s well known that the Italian press loves scandal almost as much as the rest of the country loves soccer. Throw in a dash of ‘X-Factor’ mockery and, as Muse found out during a recent promotional appearance in the boot-shaped country, you’ve got the recipe for a great tabloid story.
“We were booked on this cheesy Italian TV show where they asked us to mime. We tried to think of a way to make it fun and interesting so we decided to swap instruments,” drummer Dominic Howard tells Spinner of the band’s appearance on the soccer-themed ‘Quelli che il Calico’ program. “We just did it for a laugh really, just to have a bit of fun, but it actually turned out to be quite a thing.”

The English trio is publishing a surprising fifth album and meets the Italian press in Milano on a warm sunny day. Barely out « The Resistance » is probably the best disc published by Matthew Bellamy’s band.
