Okay, Muse.mu just dropped the bomb on the release of the Resistance single. To sum it up, it’ll be out on February 22nd in the UK. It’ll come in a CD Single (like we told you earlier) available pretty much everywhere, as a Digital Single (MP3 / 256Kbps), but also, and this is the pièce de résistance (pun intended, and being French, I’m allowed to say that): a muse.mu exclusive 7″ vinyl! Finally, another vinyl. At least we’ll have CDs for each single.

According to Triple J’s website Muse are planning to release a Tour Documentary instead of a single gig performance. Which is, of course, exciting, because Muse are not only a band on stage, they’re also three blokes that know how to have fun on tour. They have serioused up these past few years and it’s important for fans to be reminded of their cool nature.

Also, it’s to be noted that a full Aussie Tour is also in preparation for November/December, so fear not, Australia fans, they’re coming back with a full blown tour.

Forgot to post news of this. Whilst surfing MuseWiki, I saw that they’d announced a CD release for the Undisclosed Desires single due January 29th.
I checked Amazon.de and they have it for February 19th.

It’ll include the original song and both The Thin White Duke as well as the The Big Pink Pink Remixes.

Not much to say except that you can watch it here (or here if you’re from the US).

The brand new video for Resistance is now available to watch online on MTV worldwide. The video, directed by Wayne Isham, was shot in Madrid at the band’s show there last November. The single will be released in the UK on Monday 22nd February.

Which confirms this was shot at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid on November 28th 2009, both before (soundcheck) and during the show.

It also tells us that the single will come out on Monday the 22nd of February, the question remains as to what formats it will be released in…

Muse.mu just posted news of Resistance being the next single. The rumour had been circulating for quite a while and the apparition of promo singles on eBay only fortified the claim.

It’s official, Muse will be headlining the double feature German festivals of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park taking place between June 4th and 6th 2010.

After being slated to appear earlier in November, Muse will finally be present on Canal+’s Le Grand Journal on December 7th. They will do a live performance on the French program. The show will be broadcast from 7.05pm to 8.50pm. Program will most likely be recorded and posted on the website.
