Demonoid.com – Athens, Greece (4/10/07) – DVD
On their continuing quest to conquer the world, Muse thought it might be nice to stop in the legendary city of Athens, Greece, perhaps to re-write the ancient myth of the old Muses.
This DVD was filmed by a certain Giannis on his digital camera and ‘ThanasisU2′ (Thanasis) authored it to DVD.
Sadly, the DVD is incomplete and only contains about 43 minutes of footage.
‘ThanasisU2‘ then uploaded it to Demonoid.com just under a day ago and provides the number of sources. Go over and start downloading if you really want this DVD!
Paul:
I previewed the show while it was downloading and it seems pretty good (edit) bad!; the audio is a bit crunchy, but that is what we have come to expect from digital cameras, however there are also a few people obstructing the view of the camera. Once we have the full bootleg in hand we can write a more comprehensive review.
Phil (again):
After having finished downloading the DVD I noticed that it was lacking a file needed to work properly but I just simply can’t be bothered reauthoring this. The video is bad not only because it was shot from the pit using a handheld camera, but also because it only managed to catch half of what was happening on stage. Also, as Paul mentionned it, the audio quality is crunchy and songs are almost impossible to recognise by ear.
I would only recommend this DVD to someone who attended the gig or else a real hardcore fan. (Please check the screenshots below and you will see what I mean.) Most of the songs are incomplete and it’s just not a pleasure to watch. Pass on by if you are looking for some high quality Muse.

Muse ‘Confirm’ South African Dates in 2008!
As previously posted here
It has now been confirmed Muse will play both dates at the ‘My Coke Festival’ in 2008.
muse.mu:
We are delighted to confirm two festival appearances next year in South Africa. My Coke Festival will take place in Johannesburg and Cape Town on the 21st March and 24th March respectively. It will be the first time playing to South African fans, and we hope to announce further dates for next year soon.

2007-10-24 The Forum, Copenhagen – FLAC
As reported in an earlier post, ‘thomasdk7′ from Dime has now uploaded his recording of the show at the Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark. We’ve had this on our server for a few days already, but apologies for not posting the links sooner, but I’ve just been too busy. I am listening to the show now and it’s great – thomas did a great job with the recording, and it’s one of the best audience recordings I’ve heard. There is a bit of crowd noise every now and then but that’s to be expected, plus it adds to the atmosphere.
Muse put on a great show, opening with the always-amazing Take a Bow and finishing with Knights of Cydonia. Sunburn has also crept back in the setlist lately, which is great as it is one of their best tracks in my opinion. Also, this is the first time I have listened to a recent show containing Sing for Absolution in the setlist, and yes, it still sounds amazing!! As always, Muse blew us away with their magnificent riffs, especially at the end of New Born. In addition, the new solo on Supermassive Black Hole is so funky I hope they use it in a new song.
Please abide by ‘thomasdk7′s’ rules:
*** DO NOT ENCODE INTO MP3 OR ANY OTHER LOSSY FORMAT ***
*** TRADE FREELY AS FLAC OR CDR ***
We hope you all enjoy the show, especially *OoS* who was in attendance!

2006-10-30 Le Zenith, Tolouse – FLAC
One year ago today Muse played at ‘Le Zenith’ in Toulouse, one year on the amazing Sousous has released his recording of the show! It is being uploaded to the server as we speak by the amazing man himself! Chris, we thank you for all the shows you record and share you truly are great…you must have seen Muse more times than any other fan! Sousous is also uploading this show to Dime right now, here is the link.
Sousous had done an excellent job (yet again) recording this show. There is obviously some crowd noise now and then but it is nothing that detracts from the recording, it is truly great. Muse were in fine shape also, each track sounds spectacular. Download now, sit back with a beer, listen and enjoy!!!
Sousous’ notes:
Ok to share on Hubs in FLAC files.
OK to be hosted on fanwebsites (Muselive, etc, etc) in FLAC files.
DONT SHARE LOSSY COPIES (make your own mp3s for your Ipod or such players, but dont share them)
As i choose recordings to share at random, it is pure coincidence to choose this gig the same day but one year later.
Small setlist but the gig was so excellent, the band in a great mood. Hello to my seatneighbors on my right if they see this text file, first to have been so “quiet” during the gig, second one of them was from the same unit when i was in the Navy in Cherbourg (1991-2000) (coincidence again !!). (ps: Cherbourg, not so beautiful city but first town outside UK to have seen Muse in 1995)

Purelivegigs.com – A World of Mixes and Revelations – 2 Disc DVD Set
‘mathieumuse’ from PLG has uploaded a DVD set he has created.
The first is called ‘Best of Black Holes and Revelations Tour Videos’ basically it is just a live video of each song from the Black Holes and Revelations album. I really like the idea of the DVD its just they are from bad lossy sources, e.g. City of Delusion was released as a web stream from www.muse.mu We do not know the sources of each individual video so I am assuming the rest will more than likely be sourced from avi/mpg. If you don’t mind a lossy version go for it! If not then hold about for a few weeks and we may be able to provide a DVD with all high quality videos. Nevertheless this DVD has the potential to be expanded and be better, but excellent effort!
The second is called ‘Remixes, Mixed Video, Rarities and Various’ again we do not know exactly what this DVD is but I am assuming it is a mix of loads of live videos of the same song, it sounds great!!! Again if they are from lossy sources it is a shame, matthiemuse if you are reading this then contact us and we may be able to provide you with better quality videos if you want to remake it better (assuming it is lossy)

Pinkpop & Big Day Out 2004 – DVD
Who can not know about the Pinkpop Festival that takes place every year on the fields of Langraaf in The Netherlands? Surely, you couldn’t go unaware of such an event even without being an adept of the country. Alongside the Rock Am Ring festival in Germany, Pinkpop has the particularity of being very eclectic and offering a vast choice of known and unknown bands to see.
Given Muse’s amazing achievements and uprise, it was impossible for them to miss the opportunity of rocking the pink-hatted heads of the ecstatic netherlandish audience.
Whom to give them a better run for their money than the almighty three piece?
Once more, Muse prove to be the best band live out there, and they fail to deceive us every single time.

This DVD is an opportunity to see Muse at what they are best at. It was authored by ‘timmm’ and is split in two parts, just like the two parts that were broadcast at two different dates. The video and audio differ just a bit and there’s better quality to be found on Part 1 but it’s still an immensely enjoyable DVD to watch. Sadly, the TV Channel Ned3 didn’t seem to want to broadcast the two first songs of the setlist (Hysteria & Sunburn).

The author also saw fit to add the now famous Big Day Out Festival footage; the 2004 Channel [V] broadcast includes 5 songs which I personally never seem to get tired of watching. The Big Day Out festival footage appears to be .mpg lossy sourced, it is a shame there wasn’t better quality videos released of this show.
