Muse The Haarp Tour – Live from Wembley CD/DVD – 18th February Release Date?
Quite a few sources are showing that the highly anticipated DVD The Haarp Tour (which contains the full show of Muse’s perplexing performance at Wembley Stadium on the 17th June) will be released on Monday the 18th February for the UK and Europe then for USA/Canada it will be released on Tuesday 19th February.
The European CDWOW shows that the release date is Monday 18th February here.
According to CDUniverse ‘Haarp Tour’ will be released on the 19th February. Although it appears to be the CD version of The Haarp Tour release.
As per a previous post here ChartAttack.com which is a Canadian music website also reports the release date as the 19th.
Conflicting all of the above websites Amazon France and FNAC.com shows their release date as 1st February (My birthday!!)
To be honest all of this means nothing until Warner/Muse Management finally give the official announcement of the release date.

Reading Festival 2006 DVD Download
The Reading Festival 2006 DVD has once again been posted for download here on the blog for the people that don’t have it yet.
This is the best version out there created by the fantastic Joefish. It is the most complete version and the best quality around, all that is missing is Stockholm Syndrome. This DVD includes both interviews, one with Edith Bowman before the show and the second is with Jo Whiley and Zane Lowe just after the show.
You can find the write up of the DVD on a previous post here.
You can download it here.

Fury – Entertainment Center – 2007-11-17 *New*
As posted here, Muse had given away Fury live from the Entertainment Center in Sydney as an advent present in .flv format.
Much to my suprise someone left several other versions of the video in other formats (and higher resolution) just lying about on muse.mu…
The other formats are:
* MP4
* WMV
* XVID (720 x 576)
Anyway enough of the rambling you can download them below.

Festivals & TV Performances – DVD
One of our very own dedicated members of MuseBootlegs.com has created a DVD named ‘Festivals & TV Performances’. There are many versions of TV compilation DVD’s floating around the P2P and trading world but this is different, this has the very best quality sources used and best of all no re-encoding has occurred at all. This DVD basically supersedes the following compilation DVD’s:
* Festivals & TV Performances (Created by Brilly105)
Lets start on the DVD.
First title, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. This contains two videos: first is the introduction to the show where Jonathan talks and basically makes fun who are appearing on the show, he starts by saying that Muse have finally got a bit of dress sense! This was recorded by myself using a USB DVB-T TV Card, the stream was ripped without any errors or dropped frames and is the original stream that was broadcast by the BBC. The performance of Supermassive Black Hole as far as I know was recorded by Joefish, I also recorded it but Joefish captured it in DVB-S so that source was used. As everyone knows, Joefish’s rips are the best anyway (by the way Joefish where have you gone?!?!?).

Werchter Festival is next up on the DVD; unfortunately only three songs and an interview were broadcast, we do not know the lineage or taper of this but the quality is very good.

Eurockéenes de Belfort Festival again only has three songs and an interview; it was recorded by a french Muse fan called Denise Vigoureux, thanks very much to her! It was recorded using a stand alone DVD Recorder unfortunately which re-encodes on the fly but from there we have not re-encoded it anymore. The lineage for this is thus Stand Alone DVD Recorder > DVD > Reauthor > Festivals & TV Performances DVD.

Lowlands Festival had four tracks broadcast which include the very poweful Apocalypse Please. Muse management asked for the show not to be bootlegged, for whatever reason but anyway someone (fortunately!) has . In my opinion, it is one of the best versions of Supermassive Black Hole I have heard; Chris just screams down the mic and it sounds ace! We do not know the lineage of this video, it is merely from a previous authored DVD (given the fact that the source .vob file was named VTS_1_04 which leads us to presume as such).
Now everyone must have seen the performance of Starlight at the MTV EMA Awards 2006…you know…with the lasers! This video is included on the DVD, but we would like to point out that the source is not the version from the ‘Tour Edition of Black Holes and Revelations’.

Christmas Presents by Muse
Christmas came right on time this year: Muse decided to offer us not one, but two presents this time around. I’ve also heard that Tom Kirk got his laptop stolen with the videos from June 16th and that explains why we got a video that will appear on the forthcoming Haarp Tour DVD…poor Tom.
Wrapped in a nice warm golden package we have…

Unintended Live at Wembley Stadium (London, UK) on June 17th 2007. (iPod Format)

Fury Live at Entertainment Center (Sydney, Australia) on November 17th 2007. (FLV Format)
You will need VLC or FLV player to play both.
Merry (belated) Christmas everyone, and a Happy New Year from the us at MuseBootlegs.
Phil

DailyDisChord.com
I was given a link to a site called Dailydischord.com.
For all you music lovers I would recommend you pay it a visit!
It has up-to-date news on the latest tours and all latest music news. Reviews of the latest album releases and much more!
Dailydischord covers bands that are pretty much unheard of, they also offer a feature where your band can send a demo CD and they will review it and promote it on the site!
Quote:
Not only do we cover music you can join the forums and chat about movies, books, games and almost everything!
We just opened up February and since then the website has grown and grown. We regularly update our news section on all the latest music and album and gig reviews are regularly posted. Thats where you come in. With this website we allow our users to write there very own reviews and post them on the website! As long as it is half decent and an album that ain’t been reviewed already, why not have a crack? We are also looking to take on staff so might be a good idea if your passionate about your music!
All are welcome, its a really friendly community and it would be great to see more new faces!
About dailydischord.com:
I thought a good place to kick of the site would be for me to sort of do a “State of the Union” style address. Be prepared for rambling and junk. On that positive note it’s probably a good idea to give everyone a rough idea of how the site got started. Basically the major majority of the staff running the site on a day to day basis met through a band website, Funeral for a Friend’s website, the old long dead one, to be exact. Since then we’re gotten a lot older [we're talking 4+ years ago] and our tastes have diverged off away from what we once all held in common. Despite this, as a group of people joined the majority of the time by wires stretching the length and width of a country, we’ve grown a lot closer.
The idea for a site came up some months ago, another member of our hippy-styled travelling circus Marty wanted to build a music reviews site and got some of us involved for the ride and for a short time it was a pretty big success, in relative terms of course. Unfortunately, as quickly as that site came, it was gone. Lost forever in the internet graveyard for obsolete sites, midget porn archives and expired YSI links.
Inspired by the small success found with that site however, I decided to give it another bash to see how far we could take the idea. In what was only a matter of days, what began as a “loose idea” had grown into a snarling, growling tightly engineered assault mechanism. It was our baby. I roped in some of the same chumps as worked on the old site, as well as some new chumps to make things work and tame our beast.
So as DD gets up off her knees, takes her first steps and learns who exactly her daddy is, it’s a good point to explain just what it is we’re doing here. Basically, we want to build a real community here, so the first and most important thing to say is that anyone can contribute a review or an article to any of the sections we offer here on the site. If you have something to contribute, email it to the editor of that section, and they’ll send you money. We only deal in big money I’m afraid to say, Mark makes it out of A3 sheets and felt tips.
While the music news, reviews and features will remain our focus, we’re also working on building a library of Film, Book, Game and Comic reviews too. As if that wasn’t enough, also look out for some regular columns popping up, as well as some more irregular and probably highly irrational ones. Basically, we’ve got a lot to say about everything and we decided if we want our collective opinion to end up as law of the land, we need to put it out there. Henceforth, this is what we’re doing.
We’ve a dedicated team, some of them still with the majority of their limbs and motor-skills intact and we don’t bite so feel free to join our community and add your voice to the Collective. We are actually really like the Borg, stick around and you’ll see it.
And on that note, I’ll sign off and wish everyone involved good luck for 2007 and to remind everyone that doesn’t like the site or doesn’t sign up for the forum or doesn’t contribute a review or 2, we’ll shit under your Christmas tree.
